Abstract:
Young students who become parents while they are studying face big problems to continue their studies. The number seems to increase. This project presents preliminary results of a diagnosis of students who have to cop with particular difficulties because they have the responsibility of a parent while studying at the División Académica de Ingeniería y Arquitectura of Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco (DAIA-UJAT) in Cunduacan city, in the state of Tabasco, México. The first activity was to identify them. The preliminary diagnosis began with 24 students from the 2750 students registered in this faculty. Now, they have identified each other, helping themselves, they are motivated and even three of them are participating in a call working with design projects.
