Abstract:
This work shows a sample of students with a disability in our undergraduate institution. The school offers the 5 degrees -Chemical engineering, Mechanical-electrical engineering, Civil engineering, Electrical-electronics engineering and Architecture- to approximately 3000 students (Bolainas, 2015).

The essay emerges as a need to offer students equal opportunities to work in the school. The entrepreneur commission is in charge. The main objective is to find a way to include this population to regular university activities supported by authorities, professors, administrative staff and students. The first step was to identify all the students with a disability because there was no record of them. At the moment, there are 7 students. A concerning situation is the lack of knowledge of the current inclusion programs. For this reason, it is important to develop sensitivity plans to set appropriate rules that occur around the world in the government and university level (Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, United Nations, National development plan, State development plan and University plan).

Moreover, this work offers of way of classifying handicapped students. This research shows students with different limitations such as hearing and sight problems and exostoses (Juárez & cols.; 2010; Santos & cols. 2006; Ramos Gómez & cols.; 2012). This study will help to develop awareness about the existence of this population in the school.
