Abstract:
The paper deals with the issue of education of experts in risk assessment in the field of safety and health at work in small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It describes the system of training and education for the acquisition of professional competence of a safety technician, with an emphasis on training in the field of occupational risk assessment. It compares approaches to risk assessment and legal conditions in small and medium-sized enterprises in the Slovak Republic and in the Czech Republic. The introduction of the article presents the statistics of occupational accidents of individual states, where you clearly see the need to deal with occupational accidents. Subsequently, based on the selection of legal requirements, the paper points out how to ensure safety and health at work in the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. In the next part it points out the methods and means of assessment and analysis of occupational risks, which they use for the training of safety technicians in individual countries. The paper points out the need to unify the approach in the methods used and the inclusion of new approaches and tools already in the education and training of professionally qualified persons, i.e. security technicians.Keywords:
