Abstract:
This paper describes a project research experience. This project wants to study the collaborative interaction among members of a multidisciplinary group. This multidisciplinary group is composed by teachers and students of Electronic Engineering and Visual Art courses of the Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel).
The motivation of this research is to verify how this collaborative work can be done by the multidisciplinary group and we also want to check how this group can produce knowledge together. The methodology employed by the group is based on theory and practice of both areas. The activities developed by the group are registered with audio, video and notes. The digital recording of almost activities can be useful to understand the processes of creation and development of new potential ideas.
This research effort began the production of printed circuit boards (PCB) to build audio amplifiers. The PCBs were implemented with the knowledge of the artistic area. From the production of audio amplifiers, the group started to look for strategies that could allow not only a productive job but also a collaborative work. This collaborative work has as main target the sharing of understanding and the overlap of few ideas to combine materials to design PCBs and electrical circuits. These PCBs and electrical circuits were also part of artwork devices.
Therefore a multidisciplinary experience can be useful to motivate teachers and students to generate new ideas and devices. Keywords:
