A CREATIVE APPROACH IN THE FORMATION OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE AMONG STUDENTS OF LANGUAGE UNIVERSITIES
The study is devoted to the problem of teaching English oral professional communication in Universities on the basis of a creatively oriented approach. The purpose of this article is to comprehend changes in the needs, ways and teaching technics.
The leading methods of the research are the analysis of current situation and available methods of training and synthesis of new approaches to the organization of educational process.
Currently, the main goal of mastering a foreign language is familiarizing with another culture and participating in the dialogue of cultures. This goal is achieved through the formation of the ability for intercultural communication.
The article studies the concepts” communication” and” communicative activity” and presents the views of some researchers-philosophers on this issue.
The main result of the research is the formation of creative oral professional communication training programme, aimed at the formation of communicative competence. The latter can be formed with the help of creative thinking exercises.
The authors prove the idea that teaching a foreign language is characterized by a communicative nature. Everything mentioned demands the search of modern teaching methods and votes for the development of imagination as an extremely important condition for intellectual activity in the acquisition of a language.
