Abstract:
Teaching in the European framework of Bologna requires an active and continuous participation of the student in their learning process. In this context, the teacher not only facilitates the achievement of teaching objectives and specific skills, but also motivates the student to be an active actor in this process. In addition to this, the difficulty of finding suitable evaluation instruments that assess the student's continuous work is added. Therefore, the instruction of the teacher becomes more complex because the design of the course includes teaching methods able to combine the specific and transversal objectives of the subject, different learning activities that promote the student participation and the evaluation criteria.

The Spanish university centres have made a great effort to adapt to the new learning environment, but in many cases it is not accompanied by the achievements of the students. One of the reasons for this is the lack of motivation and involvement that the student has in the learning process.

Taking this point, the present article shows some active learning techniques that favour the dynamics of the class, stimulate the student to participate in it and facilitate the real time evaluation. These proposals are being progressively adopted in the degree of Management and Business Administration in Florida Universitaria (affiliated to the University of Valencia).
