Abstract:
The problem of perception of information is one of the most important in the organization of the educational process. The effectiveness of perception influences the amount of educational information that the learner will perceive and process, the depth of its perception and further use. Information in the modern world is the base which determines the success of the entire life activity of an individual. Modern teaching methods are based on the constant interaction of the individual and information. The effectiveness of this interaction determines the success of the training. As we know, all people perceive information differently. Perception and its effectiveness depend on many factors. One of these factors is the characteristics of the student’s personal sphere, which, if taken into account, can increase the efficiency of the person’s perception of information in the educational process. Many modern teaching methods unite reliance on certain features of the students' personal sphere and recognition of the leading role of perception in the educational process. Due to the fact that the basis of our methodology is the use of channels of information perception by students (the leading and lagging behind) depending on the stage of the educational process, we examined the concept of a neurodynamic profile and the basics of its use in foreign languages training. Having considered the peculiarities of perception as a psychological process, conditions of its integrity, primary, leading, main, reference and developed representative systems (modalities, channels of information perception), we stopped at using the term “leading channel of perception of information” in our study and defined it as a channel by which a personperceives information best from the surrounding world. The basis of our methods of foreign language training is the following sequence of actions: students' diagnostics by two parameters (the level of formation of foreign language competence and the leading channel for perception of information); differentiation of students; implementation of adaptive developmental education; diagnostics of the dynamics of changes in various channels of perception of information, as well as the level of formation of foreign language competence. To determine the leading channel of perception of information, we suggest using the MindWave neuro headset, the benefits of which we have substantiated in the study. On the basis of this, the leading channel of perception of information from the student is determined, which becomes the basis for further differentiation of students. At the core of the training is a general scheme of the process of mastering knowledge by students, in accordance with which in this process there are distinguished the stages of sensation and perception, understanding, memorization and actualization of the learned educational information. The procedural part of the methodology is represented by a pedagogical algorithm that determines the sequence of pedagogical actions leading to a certain result. The implementation of the methods based on the proposed algorithm allows us to consistently go through all the stages of the educational process, which causes not only the formation of foreign language knowledge and skills, but also the development of skills of educational and cognitive activity.
