Abstract:
The long-lasting effects of post-pandemic have ushered in transformative changes in higher education, giving rise to a "New Normal" that profoundly affects students' emotional well-being, academic achievements, and overall performance. Amid this context, educational landscapes experienced significant social disruptions. From this disruption emerges profound effects on students' emotional well-being, with heightened stress and anxiety fueled by uncertainties surrounding the post-pandemic. The presented article examines the profound effects on students' emotional well-being and analyzes heightened stress, anxiety, and grief experiences. The comparative study between the United States of America and Georgia explores the institutional responses to hybrid learning models and social-emotional learning programs. The study findings provide practical strategies and recommendations for American and Georgian Higher Education Institutions to foster an inclusive and supportive educational environment in this transformative era.
