Abstract:
Using an evaluation system can be an effective learning tool - even more, if it is not limited to evaluating but also includes feedback so detailed as the evaluation process, therefore this process is a meaningful source of learning. Developing appropriately structured exercises or reagents and their corresponding feedback is a motivational tool for the student. Today's students have grown up immersed in technology where computers, tablets and cell phones represent the ways they interact with their world; accordingly, they need study material developed through multimedia resources that fits the way they learn. In the present work we propose the use of the web platform Socrative, which is an application born in 2010 in MIT, USA, by a teacher who decided to use mobile devices in the classroom as a support for classes and not fight to eradicate them from the hands of their students during their teaching hours. Socrative is a multimedia tool that allows you to create surveys and questionnaires, finding out the response of students in real time through both computers and mobile devices. Questions were asked for the topic of probability taught in the subject of probability and statistics.
In this work, the use of this teaching innovation promotes the participation in the class by integrating technology in the classroom. Furthermore, students can be evaluated automatically, being able to access their answers quickly and know the opinions of students by conducting surveys on activities, tasks or work. Keywords:
