Abstract:
Probability distributions are related to frequency distributions. In fact, we can think of a probability distribution as a theoretical frequency distribution. A theoretical frequency distribution is a probability distribution that describes how results are expected to vary. These distributions represent expectations that something is happening, they are useful models for making inferences and making decisions under conditions of uncertainty. This e-book with multimedia material includes 10 chapters in which the study of probability distributions of discrete random variables, as well as continuous random variables is given in a didactic way. Also, the special probability distributions for both the former and the latter are reviewed.

The eBook offers students a full-screen experience with galleries, videos, interactive diagrams, mathematical expressions, and more. This book brings content to life in ways that a printed page cannot. Students will be able to flip through the book with just a swipe of a finger on the screen.

In summary, the audiovisual contents of this book will provide advantages when it comes to explanations and understanding of the concepts. Because it is interactive content, all the advantages of the network and its applications will be taken advantage of. They will adapt to curricular changes and taking advantage of digital flexibility, teachers will be able to select content, add, modify, etc., that is, this book will be under continuous review.
