Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to summarize the data of theoretical analysis of modern empirical studies of the subjective well-being (SW) among the students of different specialties and nationalities, allowing to support their level of life satisfaction in the learning process. The factual material of the article is ethnopsychological and indicates the diversity of forms, species, determinants and factors of the phenomenon under study. Research methods: Analysis, comparison and specification of a significant part of modern research of students ' subjective well-being. Conclusions: The Authors consider the impact of psychological security of the educational environment on the level of security of students. The results of the comparative analysis of SW of the teenagers studying in higher education Institutions of Russia and China are analyzed. The questions of interrelation of difficulties of adaptation to conditions of study and life abroad with the General level of satisfaction with life are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the issues of value orientations of students with low and high level of personal security, as well as its relationship with various forms of psychological protection. The topic of healthy lifestyle of students and its impact on the experience of happiness is touched upon. Empirical data are given to show that students who lead physically active lifestyles are less prone to frustration and various kinds of depression. SW explains the relationship of the individual with those of neuropsychic stability. The data of empirical studies confirming the hypothesis of the influence of emotional intelligence on the feeling of life satisfaction among adolescents are presented. Thus, this article attempts to systematize existing empirical research in the field of students 'security, to reveal the diversity of ethnopsychological aspects of this phenomenon and to justify the need for further study of the stated problems to ensure adequate support of the level of security of students' well-being in the learning process. Limitations of the study: The study did not use the economic status and structural components of the personality`s self-image. But they can be very important factors affecting the overall health of students. Significance of the research results: Theoretical generalization of modern research of subjective well-being of the individual in the process of education in higher educational institutions and development of practical recommendations for students and staff of internationally oriented universities.
