Abstract:
One of the fundamentals of the internationalizing business curriculum is the opportunity to provide a rich learning environment and hands-on experience. Global crisis, such as the Covid 19, interrupted the traditional approach to international collaboration between universities worldwide. Now that the countries are opening, we see more and more opportunities for the students and faculty to gain more significant and much-needed exposure to international experience and interaction. This paper explores the main factors of curriculum internationalization by analyzing experiential learning training for the faculty. It examines the steps and effectiveness of global collaboration of the program designed for the faculty and sponsored by the US Department of Education in collaboration with CIBER (Center for International Business Education and Research). The program offered international exposure to 15 faculty members from several universities in the United States that traveled to Thailand to participate in the immersion course. The paper aims to analyze the strategy, tools, and learning outcomes of experiential learning to promote global collaboration and understanding of the international curriculum implementation. The paper demonstrates the effectiveness of cross-cultural business curriculum settings where faculty and students cooperate and work within multicultural settings.
