The quota sample was formed on the basis of statistical data on the number of students in the universities of the Ural Federal District. Within each region, quotas were administered in the areas of training. The sample size (students of 3-4 courses) - 1860 people. The article reveals the degree of university students' involvement in various types of volunteer activity; specifics of sports volunteer activity are determined; peculiarities of young volunteers-students of UFO universities with experience of sports volunteering are revealed.
