Abstract:

The innovation of Information technology sciences has brought ease and convenience to all walks of our life.

With the swift expansion of Information technology sciences, the construction of Smart Campus will be the trend of universities soon.

The paper puts forward the concept of Smart Campus under the big data, analyzes best universities with Smart Campus, designs the structure, and discusses Smart Campus's construction on the example of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.

RUDN University creates smart departments. When using the principles and ideology of Smart - education, such departments can carry out their activities according to the local regulations of the university and interact with related departments and organizations by creating and using common content in the study of subjects.

The main characteristic of smart education is the ensuring compatibility of programs between different operating systems. It allows students to study on an equal footing, regardless of the devices used. It ensures the continuity of the educational process, mobility, and speed of access to information. Students and teachers are more autonomous because mobile devices and other gadgets support communication.

Electronic textbooks, computer practice, and testing, various web services make it possible to more actively use information resources and telecommunications, create new methods and techniques in education.

Created Smart Campus RUDN University:
• increased the volume of knowledge in the IT environment;
• students were able to receive the necessary information on the studied disciplines in a more mobile way;
• with the introduction of Smart education, the level of innovative technologies use has increased;
• the cooperation is established within the university, share information network creation on disciplines between several universities.
