Abstract:
The paper deals with pedagogical diagnostics in the kindergarten environment. The introduction included theoretical definition of educational diagnostics in the kindergarten environment. The main part is devoted to selected diagnostic method (B. Sindelar) to detect deficiencies in partial functions of preschool age children in kindergarten conditions. The selected method focuses on cognitive and perceptual functions that are important for reading, writing and arithmetic. Selected diagnostic method allows to determine the problematic areas of preschool and the subsequent stimulus program are weakened area practiced. The survey qualitative character was realized with six children, having proven deficits of partial functions, and subsequently repeated diagnostic survey was to determine the progress of children in diagnostic tasks and verified the importance of systematically carried pedagogical diagnosis of children with regard to their development possibilities and conditions for kindergarten.
