Abstract:
The main activity in each learning process is the assessment of students' knowledge. Nowadays most of the assessments are in written form, which necessitate keeping the exams and control tasks for a certain period of time. That is the reason to constant accumulation of paper arrays at the premises of the university departments which leads to difficulty search and find them in the future.

Papers are in danger of physical destruction: the events as fire, flood or theft. Depending on weather conditions have a limited life.

These reasons indicate growing demand for fast and accurate conversion of information from paper to electronic format. With the conversion of paper documents into electronic achieved the following benefits:
• Prevention of loss, damage and incorrect classification of documents.
• Obtain a better protection of information and access to it.
• It reduces the cost of search, storage and movement of the arrays.
• Increases efficiency.
• Possibility of multiple users to work on a document.
• Access from multiple users from different locations.
• Fast return on investment.

The aim of DigPaper project is to be able to maintain in the system different assessment from a student or group of students. Their transformation from paper in electronic version will allow the teacher to store, add, review documents and associated with a group of students. Main functionalities of design system is the possibility of scanned documents can be combined in any sign or logical connectivity and authentication data from the scanned document and linking it with a paper.

The article aims to convey the stages in the design and creation of software architecture of a system for digitization, storage and management controls and tasks that will allow teachers from different departments to retain their exams or control in a single data repository. This will increase the effectiveness of teachers and accelerate finding certain information about a particular subject, course or student. Architecture design will ensure the security of documents and their existence in time.

The paper examines existing systems and solutions for digitization of documents, management of scanned documents and identification of a scanned document to the owner / author of the document (via bar-codes). The following describes the requirements analysis and design of software architecture that is flexible and expanded structure. Such as being able to communicate with external systems and sources defined interfaces and can be consulted in various formats (Excel, PDF, Microsoft Word). The article ends with the deployment of the system and actually use.
