Abstract:
The developments in the field of the new technologies offer us new tools and opportunities in the field of fine arts. Here, we propose the use of the graphic paddle and electronic blackboard as possible new tools that can enhance the pedagogical and the creative proces within the context of fine arts degree (in the European Higher Education Area Space (EHEA) as well as in other contexts.
Although the graphic paddle has become an essential tool for the teaching-learning process of drawing, the electronic blackboard has become a real option for teaching and producing art by means of using a Nintendo Wii remote control with an infrared pen, in combination with vectorial and bitmap software. This new tool can change the teaching process in art as it offers a versatile and quick resource to communicate complex concepts relevant in the teaching process of drawing. On the other hand is a substantial and powerful tool for artists and illustrators.
