Abstract:
Introduction:
This research was conducted in the fourth year of the English Major Primary Education degree in the University of Seville. It analyzes the training needs of the students concerning their present academic and his professional future, in particular with regard to the requirements of common European framework of reference (CEFR) and the European area of higher education.

Method:
The methodology used is based on the observation of the needs, strategies practice and palliative activities design in order to palliate the detected lacks. RESULTS. Students evaluated as very positive the actions undertaken both in the case of the strategies and activities. One notable result was the interest and full participation in I Professional Encounter: the Primary Educator and the Education Reality organized by the author with the support of the School of Education.

Discussion:
It presents some drawbacks mainly related to faculty´s teaching load. However, personal gratification is high due to students´ motivation. In academic terms, it is way for professors to practice the learning to learn competence. In any case, the findings draw the validation of didactic proposals set out in the following pages in order to improve University teaching quality.
