Abstract:
The present paper shows the results of the research study carried out during the period 2005-2008 within the Enterprise Strategic Management Network. During the academic year 2007-2008, our Network set itself the following goals: firstly, to perform a longitudinal study on the student’s time and effort in four subjects corresponding to the Strategic Management area; and secondly, to examine the application of the case method for the importance that this didactic method has within the said area. The study target population was formed by 129 students from four different degrees who voluntarily signed an autonomous work contract that included three products: a partial theoretico-practical exam of the first units, a glossary of terms and a practical case. The results offer relevant data that can help to improve the teaching of Strategic Management contents for the new degrees developed within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
