Abstract:
Several countries are looking to use teaching methodologies close to a world in constant technological change. In Brazil, quality education continues to be a challenge to overcome. This scenario is even more difficult in state and municipal public schools. This work presents the use of maker culture as a methodological learning strategy applied to Professional Technological Education, within the scope of the Educa+Amazonas Program, of the Amazonas State education network. The proposal aims to make classes more practical, dynamic, and interactive, where the student is the center of the learning process, which is fundamental for the development of their cognitive and socio-emotional education. The work presents strategies for the use of the maker culture, indicating the infrastructure, equipment, and, mainly, human resources, as well as strategies for the development of educational activities within the maker culture. In this scope, the school and the teachers will be able to follow the paths necessary to use this teaching and learning strategy in their training itineraries. In addition, data from a survey conducted with teachers from the Benjamin Constant unit (IBC) of the Technological Education Center of Amazonas (CETAM) will be discussed. Thus, the didactic use of Maker Culture can become an important methodology in the human and integral formation of students.
