Abstract:
This paper examines the experience of teaching by carrying out learning projects within any Manufacturing or Service Company.
It analyzes the experience of 5 years as a teacher of the engineering area, where there have been together with the students over 20 PPAP's, 30 applications of 5's, 30 quality manuals, 30 checklists, 10 QFD, 9 Global 8 D’s, 10 quality procedures, 13 ergonomic applications and 10 quality control charts.
These applications have been implemented from the university, small, medium and large businesses, in any sector.
The benefits that are achieved are in 2 forms: the students can develop their own knowledge, understand the real problems that they will face, analyze the main problems of the companies, decide which tools to implement, apply the methodology and tangibly see the benefit of these quality tools in action.
The benefits that the organizations have obtained are countless but include: management of their facilities, improve the quality of its products and / or services, improve the job positions and understand the commitments they have in order to become a quality company in the region.
