Abstract:
In the current pedagogical approach, evaluation does not focus solely on the teacher. It must be an active learning process at all educational levels. From a traditional perspective, the most widely used evaluation system is hetero-evaluation, where the student only responds to what is required, with the teacher planning and executing it. However, in recent years, the participation of university students in the evaluation has aroused much interest in the educational literature. Self-evaluation, as an interaction between teacher and student, where the student knows their limitations and strengths (which allows them to seek help to overcome obstacles that appear), and co-evaluation, as a joint and collaborative evaluation of students, are topics that arouse special interest. In the present study, the level of knowledge and satisfaction with the use of these evaluation methodologies in students who are pursuing their undergraduate studies is analyzed. For this, a pilot investigation has been carried out during the 2022-2023 academic year with the students who are studying the subject "Marketing Strategies" of the ADE and DADE degrees of the University of Alcalá. For the evaluation of the practices of the subject of these students, not only the hetero-evaluation was used, a methodology habitually used, but also the self-evaluation and co-evaluation, methodologies rarely used with these students in this type of study. The information was obtained through a personal survey carried out at the end of the course. The results indicate that, despite the scarce use of self-evaluation and co-evaluation in the evaluation of their undergraduate studies, students are familiar with this terminology, although not so much with the term hetero-evaluation. On the other hand, the research carried out shows a significant degree of satisfaction among the students with the application of the co-evaluation and self-evaluation methodologies, manifesting a high degree of training to develop them as part of their evaluation. Keywords:
