Abstract:
Teachers’ ICT attitudes are one of main limiting factors to integrate the technology in the school. Vocational teachers are split over two teacher corps: Technical Teachers and Secondary Teachers. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of the vocational teacher corps toward ICT attitudes in the city of Murcia. A questionnaire of attitudes with 31 items, rated on five point Likert scale, was conducted among 8 vocational schools. The attitudes were evaluated considering the General Attitude, the Attitude towards the integrating the ICT in the classroom and the Attitude towards the consideration of the ICT as a teaching and learning facilitator tool. No statistical differences were found, showing that all the teachers are worried about ICTs, independently of the teacher corps. Furthermore high scores were reported, according with the teachers’ ICT attitudes. Keywords:
