Abstract:
The paper presents and discusses an example of good practice and experience the authors have with the use of poster projects in teaching Philosophy at upper-secondary school. In particular, the used methodology and processing the project assignment by students is described. The assignment to illustrate the basic ideas of selected philosophers from the turn of the 20 and 21centuries was set to a group of students within optional Philosophy seminar at a private grammar school. The main aim of the project assignment was to point out at modern philoso-phy as a living organism that is not only closely related to the current state of science, but is a dynamic living conglomerate of active personalities with whom communication can be established.
