Abstract:
The correct construction of the process card is a vital indication for carrying out the given process and its sub-processes in such a way that the highest possible level of efficiency is maintained. The design of the card is based on the process map, which is divided into managerial, main, and supporting processes. Education is one of the main processes and therefore it is necessary to pay attention when defining the source or sources of inputs, required inputs, activities as units of processes, steps as units of activities, expected outputs, recipients of outputs, and the possibilities of monitoring and managing the progress of the process. This division is based on ISO 9001:2015, where the process approach in quality management systems is already emphasized after the second update. In the field of mechanical engineering, these cards are a highly sophisticated tool for meeting the goals of technical-type university education, and for taking preventive and corrective measures in case of potential non-compliance with the educational curriculum. The cards also enable continuous improvement of education in a sustainable way for the benefit of all stakeholders.
