Abstract:
ICT brought changes to Education. Nowadays there is a need to create methodologies and models in content design as to integrate all the elements that constitute a unit of knowledge. Most models used, are technology centered and have no pedagogical integration with the curricula. LMSs, although flexible, are nor customised to every student. There is a need to identify and analyse the relevant components of the instructional design. According to the construtivism theory, there is great relevance on the cognition flexibility as an adaptable answer to situation needs. This paper has the goal to exploit the application of the distributed cognitivism in managing e-learning contents, either to be used in distance learning or in the classroom. Assuming that learning is a question of belonging and participation, the community becomes the focal point of the group interacting and learning together. It will be also analysed how the Communities of Practice will interact, learn and build relationships using ICT.
