Abstract:
It has never been an easy decision to claim that "this is plagiarism". It's always up to the educator to decide whether to ask the student to correct his mistakes or punish him. There's been lots of cases in the world history when students were officially punished for plagiarism, including penalties and suspension.

We will discuss what the official consequences of plagiarism in different countries are, current procedures in respect to plagiarism and whether it is possible for the suspended student to regain his reputation or not.
