Abstract:

Years and years ago before the invention of plagiarism detection systems, academic plagiarism was as simple as just that old copy-paste stuff. Nowadays, plagiarism is almost like an art. It got more sophisticated. Now it’s not a matter of dealing solely with professor but rather inventing ways to get around technical systems - plagiarism detection algorithms.

Dealing with technology, working with academic papers and instantly monitoring "students talk" online, we clearly see new methods of online academic cheating evolving.

During presentation we will speak about latest cheating techniques and interesting cases we’ve got to find over the last year as well as ways for coping with them.
