EDUCATE TO INNOVATE ORGANIZATIONS TOWARDS SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC RESPONSIBILITY: A NEW POST-GRADUATE TRAINING PROPOSAL

Abstract:
This contribution presents the process of designing a new post-graduate training proposal, recently launched, which integrates the methodological approaches of the design discipline with the sensitivity of art and managerial knowledge, to interpret new contemporary challenges and innovate organizations, in light of the indications emerged from the UN Agenda 2030.
The first part of the paper deals with a brief evolutionary excursus of Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability, investigated through the innovation of design methods and fields, and action-research in the political and economic sphere. A brief study of the Italian situation focuses on how today's design for social innovation and sustainability is a theme increasingly present at different levels of governance, for the development of new economies and competitiveness, and the enhancement of territories and communities.
The second part is dedicated to the project of a new post-graduate training offer, to guide the transformation process of organizations - public and private, profit and non-profit - through social, environmental and economic responsibility, today real development opportunities and growth, in the light of the Sustainable Development Goals of UN Agenda 2030. A proposal for a multidisciplinary Executive Master, based on the meeting of design methods with the ability of art to interpret society and the integration of marketing and design management techniques.
Finally, we present some educational activities to explain the objectives of the Master and the methods used for training, led by design and artistic approach.Keywords:
