Abstract:
Introduction:
The European University of Valencia has introduced as part of its educational innovation project of studying law degree methodology, the preparation of competitive exams for accessing the judicial and fiscal career for those students that after completing their law degree, decide to choose this opportunity. Traditionally, many of these graduate students had access to this alternative without any preparation or knowledge of how to face this new stage. Exam preparation is not just a matter of theoretical knowledge, but also involves a pattern of work planning, time organization, conducting techniques to prevent or reduce stress, preparing concentration techniques and self-esteem and relaxation. Therefore, the introduction of a subject in the grade of law to guide the student in this career path is a good thing, knowing when the characteristics of this option. This knowledge may encourage students to follow this path or to choose other options.

Objectives:
The main objective of this work is to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of introducing in the degree of law, methodologies of teaching that guide the student for the preparation of competitive exams for access to the judicial and fiscal career.

Material and methods:
These two subjects called "Study Skills" and "Techniques of oral expression” have been introduced in the 1st quarter of 3rd year of law degree at the European University of Valencia. These courses aim to provide students with patterns of work planning, time organization, conducting techniques to prevent or reduce stress, preparing technical concentration, self-esteem. In order to gain agility and fluency in learning units, topics related to the subject "Family Law and Inheritance" are used for the test. This test consists in an oral presentation of topics simulating a real exam for the opposition. The test consists in an oral recitation during 15 minutes for every unit. The choice of topics for the oral exposure is performed by the student choosing them randomly. The exam court is composed of professors of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the European University of Valencia. The other fellow students should attend as public as it is done in a real exam. Previously, a visit to the school of registrars and notaries of Valencia has been planned as an activity outside the University so the students can see a real exam.

Results:
In order to evaluate the results of this learning methodology, a survey for evaluate the student opinion regarding study skills and techniques of oral expression was used. The results show great satisfaction of the students in acquiring fluency in exposing the issues orally.

Conclusion:
The conclusion of the implementation of this new innovative teaching methodology is that law degree students are much more familiar with the units and study skills to prepare oppositions to judicial and fiscal career and are happy with the methodology.
