Abstract:
This study deals with smart practices that can be used in foreign language learning and focuses on the results they bring to Spanish language learning. Modern reality leads teachers to constantly seek new methods for language learning in order to obtain the best results in the shortest possible time. In addition, teachers must keep students' interest in the language alive and the transmission of a set of cultural elements at the same time is a challenge. In today's ever-changing environment, teachers involved in language learning, in addition to transmitting knowledge of the foreign language, must help students to become familiar with different cultures, accept them and function harmoniously in diversity.
This study aims to highlight the effectiveness of new Spanish language learning practices and to seek, through the analysis of specific results, the role of age in the learning of a foreign language and in the acceptance of a different culture. To conduct the study, we followed and compared the course of a group of adult students interested in learning Spanish for a specific reason and the course of a group of primary and secondary school students with an age range of 10 to 14 years old. At the same time, data collected from these groups using a structured questionnaire around the use of new smart practices in language teaching are also evaluated. Keywords:
