Abstract:
This paper proposes the MOdE as a model of approach to the educative patrimony focused on experience.
Such a model is not meant to highlight learning paths centred on active and immersive methodologies, rather to propose experience as a fundamental category in order to achieve authentic activities, of intellectual, relational, aesthetic and ethic kind, in which teachers and cultural educators are jointly involved in a designing work.
In order to realise this perspective, two main concepts are pointed out:
• competence both as element of professionalism and educational goal
• system network as a planning strategy among school and museum.
With such a sense museum is intended as a laboratory in which an active, sensible, curious, gathering citizenship, at all ages, finds its expression, as alternative living place for the contemporary man.
“Officina of Education Museum” of Bologna University is an innovative and dynamic space, committed to exibiting, collecting, evaluating and promoting the diffusion of “objects” related to the field of Education.
