Abstract:
The master’s degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory and Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Education and Training and Language Teaching is a master's degree that is taught at different Spanish universities. This Master qualifies students to work as a teacher in primary and secondary education as well as vocational training. In this Master, students acquire knowledge and skills in the field of education, so they can transmit their knowledge.

The subject Complementary Training and Career Guidance is a subject that is part of the master’s degree in Teacher Training. These subject addresses different topics such as labour legislation, labour market, labour rights and duties, job search, career management, training and development of labour skills, among others. The aim is that students acquire a broad and up-to-date vision of these topics to effectively transmit this knowledge to their students.

The objective of this article is to describe the objectives, the target competencies, the assessments, the skills and contents of this subject, and how different teaching methodologies such as collaborative work, master class, gamification and Project-Based can be combined to teach the subject. The case study of a Spanish university in which this subject is being taught is presented.
