Abstract:
The master's degree in human rights is a master's degree that is taught in different Spanish and Latin American universities. Its main objective is that students acquire knowledge and skills in the field of human rights. Therefore, they will be able to legally advice citizens on the protection of their human rights when they are violated. At the end of the master, the student will be able to defend human dignity through the correct application of protection systems, both nationally and internationally.

The subject "Gender and human rights" is a subject that is part of the master's degree in human rights. This subject analyses the different forms in which violence against women is manifested in different countries, as well as its evolution to the present day and the protection measures to combat it in accordance with the different legislations.

The objective of this article is to describe the objectives, skills and contents of this subject and how different teaching methodologies such as collaborative work, master class and gamification can be combined to teach the subject. The case study of a Spanish university in which this subject is being taught is presented.
