Abstract:
The project "History and Science: The problems of Mexico and the contemporary world from the transdisciplinar", has the purpose of promoting among professors of all fields of knowledge and students, the discussion of strategic issues of the contemporary world agenda that will generate products concrete reflection and learning, for this purpose, the topics raised in the agreement "17 Sustainable Development Goals" of the United Nations Development Program, UNDP, accepted by all member countries, including Mexico, are taken as reference framework. A planetary urgency before the problems that we face as a society of the 21st century. The topics that are indicated in this agreement are: poverty, hunger, health and well-being, education, gender equality, water, clean energy, decent work, industry, inequality, urbanization and sustainable production, climate action, underwater life and terrestrial, peace and alliances. Based on the review of some of these topics that require a transdisciplinary perspective, ways of approaching the classroom will be considered in order to achieve goals in the near future.

It is proposed to contribute to the dissemination of the transdisciplinary approach in the context of the university baccalaureate through various academic activities and learning products. The participants of the project will contribute to the generation of transdisciplinary proposals that will culminate in the following activities and products:
1. Celebration of an academic day with the axis: "The problems of Mexico and the contemporary world from transdisciplinarity", with the participation of several entities university academics.
2. Realization of projects with students from the "17 Sustainable Development Goals" established by the UN in 2016.
3. Exhibition of posters with the results of the students' projects.
4. Writing a book with didactic strategies from the transdisciplinary approach, product of student projects. All activities are aimed at fostering new educational perspectives, in accordance with the current moment and based on systemic thinking, the foundation of transdisciplinarity in the educational field.

The aim is also to increase collegiate reflection and research in the baccalaureate, on cutting-edge topics and contribute to the detection of students' interests regarding problems in Mexico and the contemporary world.
The problems of Mexico and the contemporary world require analysis with a transdisciplinary approach, for the generation of feasible solutions and ethical principles.

In this sense, we consider that:
a) the realization of a project such as "History and Science: The problems of Mexico and the contemporary world from transdisciplinarity" will contribute significantly to the dissemination and implementation of this approach in the context of the baccalaureate university, especially in the College of Sciences and Humanities of the UNAM,
b) the execution of a project like the one we propose will contribute to the updating of teaching in border issues, both in the field of knowledge and education and, finally,
c) The development of this project will generate products with specific didactic proposals to address current world issues that will be part of a bibliographic collection of and for the institution.
