Abstract:
Nowadays, it is convenient and necessary to make use of new and emerging technologies that allow to develop any activity effectively and efficiently, including those involved in teaching.

Intelligent agents are computational entities capable of displaying features such as reactivity, initiative, reasoning, social skills, learning, mobility, etc. They have mechanisms that allow them to perceive and manipulate their environment, such as sensors and actuators. Hence, they are employed in various areas of scientific and engineering research. An intelligent agent can communicate and collaborate with other agents, a situation that allows them to carry out a specific task through various planning and coordination mechanisms. These characteristics define an adaptive learning environment.

This paper presents an adaptive learning environment based on intelligent agents. Each agent has a sensor and an actuator. The sensor provides the ability to know the search space, through an input interface that allows to establish a strongly coupled association with a graph. This association is by aggregation. The agents use BFS as a search mechanism. Their aim is to convert the given graph to a tree whose root will be the initial node and the final node will be found at some level of the tree.

It should be noted that, in the educational field at any level, new technologies, in particular information technology, have recently played an important role in the teaching-learning process, which is why this paper presents a perspective of new technologies and their use in teaching.
