Abstract:
The implementation of the new degrees, within the framework of Convergence to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), almost in all Spanish Universities, has been preceded by the so-called Projects for Educative Innovation (PEI). Some of them where launched in 2003-2004 within the University of Valencia. In accordance with their purpose, some innovative pedagogical tools were proposed aimed at the improvement of the academic performance of the students. Thus, this study aims to asses whether the objective has been achieved by using one of these particular tools.
Such tool, consisting on the implementation of a group activity, took place within the context of the double degree “ADE-Derecho” of the University of Valencia. More precisely, it was used in a subject of quantitative character.
The assessment of the mentioned tool will be analyzing the results obtained in recent promotions of the PEI cited above.
