Abstract:
The generation of jobs is one of the main challenges of the international socioeconomic panorama, given the restrictions of the labor market and the greater specialization demanded by the organizations; in this sense, the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, highlight the need to promote the entrepreneurial spirit that allows the creation of decent work and contribute to economic growth, so, in a scenario of economic recession and high rates of youth unemployment, the issue of entrepreneurship acquires particular relevance. However, the design of effective strategies to boost employment requires inquiring about the intrinsic factors and environment that limit young people's access to the labor market or stop their entrepreneurial projects, which is why this research presents a proposal for measuring the variables that impact on the rate of entrepreneurship, which allows delineating a multidisciplinary strategy to promote the development of entrepreneurial skills and self-employment with a social approach among students. In order to achieve these goals, a documentary, exploratory and transversal research work was carried out, focused on the review of articles that address the topic of entrepreneurship, as well as factors associated with human well-being, in order to identify what In this way, these topics help to promote the entrepreneurial potential among university students. As a result, the construction of a 96-item instrument was achieved, which addresses the relationship between the entrepreneurial potential as a dependent variable and the following independent variables: entrepreneurial skills, prosocial motivation, physical and emotional health, and, perception of the socioeconomic environment. It is considered that this instrument can be constituted as a reference for the study of the topic of entrepreneurship from a multidisciplinary perspective in the Latin American context.
