Abstract:
Studies of medicine, undergraduate, potgraduate and continuing education entail a continuum process of acquisition, maintenance and improvement of skills for the practice of the profession.
The implementation of the Bologna process in teaching-learning processes generates an added interest in looking for new methods of training in medical skills and evaluating them.
This approach to the teaching-learning of medical skills leads us to a change of paradigm in the own teaching-learning and in the methods of evaluation of those training and professional skills of medicine.
In this frame, we will try to show an old-renewed method of evaluating the acquisition of psychiatric skills in medical training based in the OSCE (Objective and Structured Clinical Examination), as a method of testing those medical, clinical skills related with the most practical, communication and procedural practices.

OSCE, medical training, medical skills evaluation.
