Abstract:
The Faculty of Labor Sciences of Huelva University starts to impart the Bachelor of Labor Science Degree in the year 2002/2003. Due to the novelty of the studies and the interest in society, from the course named was decided to provide such degree in two ways: presencial and virtual.

Fruit of the success during the two first academic courses and as a pilot experience, in the course 2004/2005 joins a group of students in Melilla. For these students enroll in our center give the opportunity to continue the studies that their community does not offer, without having to move. The new headquarters welcomes the experience with great success, which leads us in the next course to incorporate students from Tenerife and subsequently students from A Coruña and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. As a result Huelva´s University has signed agreements with Graduate Social School of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and A Coruna, this has led to a favorable developments in demand, and that at present there are students throughout the national territory.

In this work we offer a retrospective view of the evolution that throughout this period has experienced the degree of Labor Sciences, as well as the creation and work developed by Unit of support for the Virtual Education of our center. In addition, is presented and analyzed the evolution of the academic results of the different subjects immersed in such project, as well as the dropout rate. These conclusions will able us to provide the results of the virtual teaching in a public university and the possible future applications and improvements in this experience.
