Abstract:

The concept of education (fr. Éducation, lat. Educatio), considers a set of applied measures that involve the formation and development of the intellectual, moral or physical characteristics of children, youth or people, in a word, of the society from which they are part of. There is an important factor that contributes to the education of the young generation, but also of adults, and we refer here to the media. Its actions are associated with general efforts to shape the human personality. Although the educational role of the media, in relation to the family and the school, is not fully clarified, modern mass media make their own contribution to the socialization of the individual. The importance they have is due to the exerted influences. Lately, it’s well known that mass-media, movie and social networks represent a constant living environment of the child’s life, alongside the family environment, the school environment and the child’s social network. How can movie affect (change) the children's intellectual development? We will try to answer this question in this article. The movie brings an educational cultural climate in which children grow and train, so that new dimensions and possibilities of influence are acquired. It is an ambiance that subjects them to a wide variety of stimuli, generating new experiences, needs and interests, as well as a special way to exercise and fulfill their activity of knowledge and culturalization, but also of entertainment.

This article reinforces the use of modern means of communication in education, which iis a fundamental element of man's relationship with the world around him. The information transmitted through these technological innovations is one of the important sources of the formation of the spiritual universe of man today. Hence it is important to look at these modern means of education as supports in educating individuals of all ages.
