Abstract:
The article talks about modern teenagers’ age-related specificities of conflict behaviour, the psychological characteristics of adolescence are highlighted, which become the cause of conflicts, also this article substantiates the need for participants in the educational process to learn how to behave correctly in conflict situations, which increases the effectiveness of education as a whole. As the result of the study of the strategies of schoolchildren’s behaviour, the predominance of negative relationships between teenagers, the use of non-constructive tactics of behaviour and interaction in a conflict situation was noted, the behavior of adolescents was characterized by a low level of conflict competence: lack of knowledge about behavior in conflict, weak communicative control, emotional instability, aggressiveness, which interfered with constructive resolution of the conflict.. According to the results of diagnostics the need for further conflict resolution work in the adolescence’s group was stressed and this study gives psychological and pedagogical recommendations to pedagogues and parents on conflict resolutions.
