Abstract:
The article focuses on the requirements of conflictological training of teachers, the concept of conflict, types and their causes in the educational environment, as well as the results of a study of readiness of future teachers to resolve conflicts.In the context of modernization of education, teachers of modern universities are faced with the need to master new professional and general cultural competencies. At present, the professional competence of the teacher of higher education institution in the field of resolving pedagogical conflicts is at a low level, which reduces the effectiveness of the educational process as a whole, therefore, the process of forming the conflict resolution competence of the university teacher is important. The author analyzed the interpretations of the concept “conflictological competence of a university teacher” presented in Russian literature, describes the structure, forms and methods of forming conflictological competence of a university teacher. As a result of the study, teacher response strategies in conflict situations, conflictogens characteristic of university teachers were identified.
