Abstract:
Rapid development in the field of social media has made education easier, interesting and practical. Apart from entertainment and information social media sites are providing education to their users. Online technical and professional courses are being offered and taught on various social media sites. Active students and professionals of these study programs are the signs of social media power in the area of education. This study will investigate the power of social media to educate modern world.

Quantitative research method will be applied in the study. Section one will be comprised of background of the educational organizations, institutions and their social media accounts including Facebook and YouTube, particularly their method of educating the masses across the globe. Research objectives will be defined. 2nd Section will reveal research methodology such as quantitative method, sampling and data collection. 3rd Section will designate the results and findings of the study, resulting from content analysis of Facebook posts and YouTube videos of educational institutions and organizations, of all selected social sites. The fourth Section will include discussion and suggestions and limitations of the study and at the end conclusion of the empirical research study will be presented.
