Abstract:
Especially in professions that require face to face relationships with clients, ethical behavior is the most precious characteristic. During the university education process, there are enormous amounts of knowledge transmitted to the students during the lectures which is assumed to encourage students and future psychologists to act and give decisions in an ethical manner. Although ethical behavior and also ethical decision making is the major goal of university education, the moral values which affect ethical decisions are more persistent because they start developing at early childhood. The researcher assumes that ethical decision making and ethical behaviors are affected by moral values. The research questionnaire distributed to psychology students upon web-based and the collected data analyzed whether the moral personality features affect the students' ethical decisions. Also, in this research, socio-demographic variables were assessed whether they affect the ethical behavior or not. As a result, the more the moral values accommodated to the personality the more ethical behavior occurs as a product.
