Abstract:
The research focuses on the study of linguistic corps as an innovative tool to increase students’ motivation in order to form lexical and grammatical competence. Teaching any foreign language involves the formation of a cultural foreign language competence, for which the student first needs knowledge of his vocabulary and grammar. Instruction in foreign language vocabulary and grammar is a compulsory stage of the educational program of any higher education institution, which is usually carried out at the primary levels of education.

Therefore, in order to form a stable motivation of students to study a foreign language from the first year, it is necessary to select such methods and tools of teaching their foreign language vocabulary and grammar, which in the first place will arouse interest in them.

It is known that all spheres of human life actively penetrate digitalization, and the sphere of education is not an exception. As a result, new educational outcomes requirements and corresponding changes in content and teaching methods have driven the transition to a new educational environment. This has made it possible to bring the educational process to a new level of active social creativity, which has expanded the potential for human development, as well as to facilitate the integration and processing of various information in the open information and educational sphere. Moreover, adaptation of educational organizations to the trends of digitalization, allows to expand opportunities in selection and implementation of various pedagogical methods, where digital-technologies act not so much as an auxiliary tool, but as a catalyst of cognitive interest of students. Cognitive interest, combined with the need for knowledge of a discipline, and form the basis of educational motivation.

The results of the research demonstrate that in recent years, linguistic corps have become highly practical in teaching foreign languages. These are digital-format structured, labeled and philologically presented arrays of language data designed to solve various linguistic problems. The use of national linguistic buildings as a tool to motivate the formation and development of lexical and grammatical competence of students within the framework of the initial course of foreign language can serve to maximize language visibility - demonstration of language means on examples of speech, somatization of vocabulary and grammar by means of the language studied, which will prevent errors in word formation and word usage. The speech of students will be enriched by lexical and grammatical means, which are relevant to them and selected on the principle of use by speakers of the language. In turn, the organization of research practice of students will allow to successfully solve problems of formation of lexical and grammatical competence, to develop cognitive activity and ability to independently find language information for creation of correct speech works.
