Abstract:
This article is based on a research carried out in the CCCartola (Centro Cultural Cartola), a "cultural reference" entity in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, that bases its works on tangible and intangible conditions of the samba history. It takes the name Cartola -Angenor Oliveira (1900-1980) musician and composer asits main representative because as a resident of Favela da Mangueira, Cartola created a samba school. Later on, in 2013, the Centro Cultural was baptized CCCartola in his honor to develop art projects such as dance in general, violin orchestra, music courses, sports, capoeira, judo, and literary workshops (reading and writing), to complement the youth education. The objective of the research in the Literary Production Workshops 'To Weave the Imaginary', was to analyze, how the literary texts can positively influence in the trajectory of individuals who live in a vulnerable social situation; on the premise that the creation and reading of fictional texts, enable narratives that can rehab the individual and the collective. The model and prototype of this research are represented by young people who attend CCCartola. The qualitative and participatory methodology was used as indicators of inclusion and citizen sustainability. The results showed that stimulating the imaginary or the imagination was positive because the symbolic representations accelerated the cognitive-emotional development, probably by dealing with sociocultural aspects of their reality.
