Abstract:
The authors of the article present modern tools for education in construction, including managerial qualifications recognition. These tools have been developed in a series of EU co-financed projects, including Erasmus+ project CLOEMC V - "COMMON LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR EUROPEAN MANAGERS IN CONSTRUCTION, PART V". The CLOEMC projects developed manuals of the Construction Managers’ Library, covering learning outcomes and thus the principles of recognizing European managerial qualifications for the EurBE card (European Building Expert). The article presents the results of the project.

The construction sector plays an important role in the European economy. It generates almost 10% of GDP and provides 20 million jobs. Raising the level of education of staff in this sector is very important due to the efficiency and durability of the construction industry. There is a large migration of engineers, construction managers in the construction sector due to the different state of economic development of EU countries. For this reason, it is extremely important that the qualifications and skills of construction personnel and site managers are recognized and certified in the same way throughout the EU. The main goal of the projects is to expand - in transnational cooperation - the Construction Managers’ Library (19 textbooks created in previous Leonardo da Vinci TOI projects and 13 in ERASMUS+ - all available free of charge at www.cloemcv.il.pw.edu.pl, website visited by over 27,000 beneficiaries). The CLOEMC V project - as the name suggests, is the fifth edition of the project.
