Abstract:
The article is devoted to applying information educational technologies as one of the modern ways of developing cognitive independence and activity of trainees when forming professional competences in the process of mastering a foreign language. It presents some aspects of e-learning resources being developed and applied in professional training disciplines. Introducing these technologies into the educational process is regarded by the example of the specialized translation (the French language) electronic course for undergraduate students studying in the field of "Pedagogical Education". The article describes the structural components of the course, analyzes the effectiveness of its being used in the university educational process on the basis of pedagogical observation, questioning and evaluating the results of organized experiential teaching. Among the positive aspects proving the effectiveness of such technologies being used in the educational process the following ones have been revealed: developing trainees’ independence and critical thinking due to the problematic nature of the performed educational tasks, increasing their responsibility and ability to organize themselves, providing a more comfortable educational environment by means of higher interactivity, individualization and differentiation of teaching. Due to this, the developed distance course contributes to forming the future graduates’ ability and readiness to learn, improve and develop themselves throughout all their further professional work.
