Abstract:

Every educational system must meet the requirements of the time. The reason is a fast-changing world where everything changes rapidly. COVID-19 demonstrated how every sphere of the world can be affected in a limited time. It opened many problems in Kazakhstan's educational system, as it was not prepared for the harsh online-mode transition. One of the subsequences is the Decree by which the reorganization of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan happened. In this work, we analyze different methodologies that are applied to the development of the Kazakhstani educational system according to the experience of IITU.
The paper observes the higher education system in Kazakhstan and its modern condition. The latest updates made universities more independent in terms of educational program quality and as a result, graduates' demand on the labor market. However, all of them are tracked in a unified higher education management system, where all the information can be tracked. It eases applicants' access to the necessary information while searching for the appropriate educational institutions and makes the system clearer and more transparent. Moreover, the approach creates a competitive environment that also affects the educational system positively.
The observation of different methodologies is highlighted by comparing the current results and forecasting the future development of educational programs in Kazakhstan.
